We are looking forward to a strong Prosper Eagle Lacrosse Spring season with our Boys Varsity Head Coach Jared Venia. Jared is also the Boys Youth Program Director and Coach of the 7/8 team. He comes to us having led teams to two state championships. 

We also have a new girls varsity team this year with Head Coach Christine Heaney. Christine comes to our Club with a life-long love for lacrosse and as captain, led her college team to the Newmac Championships. She has also taught numerous camps and clinics throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

Along with the strong varsity program, we also have teams for boys beginning in the first grade. It is important to note that the club’s goal is to implement a program that will increase all participants' fundamental skill levels and provide a standard and progressive system to be used at all levels in the program. The youth, beginning with the 5/6 program, will start to utilize a system that is in alignment with the varsity program so that the boys are prepared to compete at the varsity level. Prosper Eagle Lacrosse believes that running a program that is similar to some of the top programs gives us the best opportunity to immediately begin competing at the highest levels and against more established programs.  

CONFUSION IN REGISTRATION

There may be some confusion regarding registration that we would like to clarify. Another competing lacrosse program through PYSA has been launched in Prosper. To be clear, we are not affiliated with PYSA and Prosper Eagle Lacrosse is the only recognized lacrosse program in the newly-formed DFW Lacrosse League that represents all but one youth program in the entire DFW area. This means we will continue to have premier opponents to play this season.
