Directed by Brady Stapleton & choreographed by MYT’s Managing Director, Hollie Hongosh, this hilarious comedy will leave you in stiches. THE ADDAMS FAMILY is a smash-hit musical comedy that brings the darkly delirious world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and, of course, Lurch to spooky and spectacular life.
THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story and it's every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family who her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, her father, Gomez Addams, must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.

McKinney Youth Theatre was created as part of Plano Children’s Theatre, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In 2005, Plano Children's Theatre (PCT) was awarded grant money to begin programming in McKinney and McKinney Youth Theatre (MYT) was born. Since this time, through programming, camps & classes, MYT has served over 50,000 individuals in McKinney, and the surrounding areas, whose mission is dedicated to developing the character of youth, ages 5-18, through quality arts education and family entertainment.
