Light Farms Elementary received a grant for “A little Spot of Emotion: Social and Emotional Development Curriculum”

Prosper Education Foundation and Park Place Lexus Plano teamed up to provide grants to Prosper teachers. The two entities surprised teachers and staff at Prosper High School and Light Farms Elementary to present checks.

Park Place Lexus Members (employees) presented checks for three grants that included:

  • Resource Reading Library at Prosper High School
  • Campus Color Poster Printer for project-based learning at Prosper High School
  • “A little Spot of Emotion: Social and Emotional Development Curriculum” at Light Farms Elementary

“Park Place Lexus donated $10,000 to Prosper Education Foundation to support the school’s mission to see each PISD student succeed,” said Chris Brunner, general manager of Park Place Lexus Plano. “We are glad students will receive additional resources to further their education. Each grant can help another teacher and student succeed and that benefits our entire community.”

The Prosper Education Foundation supports teacher grants, teacher awards, teacher resources, and Senior scholarships and academic programs at schools in Prosper ISD.

Prosper Education Foundation seeks to profoundly impact the success of each PISD student. We build futures for students through college scholarships, equip teachers through grants, recognition and awards, and fund district-wide academic programs and professional development initiatives that are outside the budget of PISD.  Donations from businesses, individuals and community organizations make up the resources PEF invests into Prosper ISD.
