Lombardi Cucina Italiana Is Crowned Best Of The Fest at 3rd Annual Frisco Uncorked!

7400 People Attended the Festival Presented by H-E-B

7400 wine enthusiasts and culinary devotees attended the 3rd Annual Frisco Uncorked, presented by H-E-B, on April 30 at Frisco square and crowned Lombardi Cucina Italiana with the gastronomic honor of Best of The Fest! Festival goers noshed at some of area’s best eateries -- The Common Table, Torchy's Tacos, Dillas Quesadillas, Toulouse Café and Bar, Tommy Bahama, The Dock, Sambuca 360, Taverna, Ked's Artisan Ice Cream & Treats, Jake's Burgers & Beers, Gidi Bar & Grill, and KAI Restaurant & Lounge -- before casting their votes. Lombardi’s owner, Alberto Lombardi, opened his eponymous restaurant at the Frisco star in February; the restaurant is known for its large selection of "fatto a mano" pastas as well as extensive array of fresh fish, meats and produce.

Local foodies also delighted in watching and participating in grape stomping competitions, listening to live music, shopping and sampling unique chef creations in the Monogram Luxury Appliances Culinary Experience Tent.

“Attendance at this year’s Frisco Uncorked was the best we have had to date,” said SBG Hospitality owner Lauren Stephan. “People were so enthusiastic to vote for the Best of Fest and we were delighted to bestow the honor to Lombardi Cucina Italiana. The restaurant’s Frisco location serves authentic Italian cuisine in a modern atmosphere and its owner, Alberto Lombardi, has been a mainstay in the Dallas/Fort Worth dining landscape for over 45 years.”
