Windsong Ranch, a 2,030-acre master-planned community in Prosper, announced today its newest addition to the neighborhood- Windsong Café featuring food from the renowned SNUG on the Square restaurant in downtown McKinney. 

“We are thrilled to be offering this great menu and gathering place in our community,” said Craig Martin, founding partner of Terra Verde Group, the developer of Windsong Ranch.  “The café, operated by Sandra Nichols, will offer many of the same popular menu items, locally roasted coffees and specialty beverages that have made SNUG on the Square famous. Residents and visitors alike will love the delicious, freshly made food including oversized, made-to- order omelettes, soups and hot sandwich melts.”

Windsong Café offers free WIFI and has indoor and outdoor seating.  It is housed in the Welcome Center at The Commons, which sits on a beautiful hill overlooking a two-acre lake with spectacular resort style amenities including a lap pool, tanning pool with children’s splash area,  private cabanas, an outdoor living room with massive fireplace and state-of-the art fitness center. “We anticipate this café being the hub of social life in Windsong Ranch.”

Upon a projected 10- to 15-year build-out, the $1.2 billion Windsong Ranch, located 2.5 miles west of the Dallas North Tollway on Highway 380, will consist of 3,100 single-family residential lots; 250 acres of mixed-use development along U.S Highway 380; and 600 acres of open space with native preserves, trails and parks.   

Homes in Phase One range from the mid-$300s to $500s.  Highland Homes, Drees Custom Homes and Darling Homes will open by July.  Model homes by builders Huntington Homes, David Weekley Homes and Chesmar Homes will be open Fall 2014.  For more information on Windsong Ranch, please go here.
