North Prestonwood National Charity League Senior Presentation

National Charity League North Prestonwood Chapter

Senior Presentation

The North Prestonwood Chapter of the National Charity League recently honored the class of 2015 at its first annual Senior Presentation ceremony on Sunday, March 22 at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Tx.

The National Charity League is one of the nation’s most distinctive mother-daughter service organizations that is committed to fostering the mother-daughter relationship through community service,  leadership development,  and cultural experiences.

At the formal event, chapter members, along with the senior families, enjoyed dinner and celebrated the accomplishments of each of the four graduating seniors.  The North Prestonwood Ceremony included guest speaker Shelly Slater, a multi-Emmy award winning journalist and 4pm news anchor for WFAA , as well as a video presentation for each senior narrated by their mother followed by a taped interview by the senior and a mother’s tribute message.  Each senior was escorted across the stage by their parents and “presented’ to the chapter with a formal curtsey, followed by the Father/Daughter dance.

Seniors presented that evening were:

Heather Christine Franklin, daughter of Steven and Michelle Franklin,

McKenzie Elaine Jackson, daughter of Brent and Kerri Jackson,

Claire Elizabeth Litzkow, daughter of Mike and Cheryl Litzkow,

Blair Nicole Thorpe, daughter of Howard and Angie Thorpe.

High Schools attended by the class of 2015 include Frisco High School, Heritage High School and Wakeland High School.

The Senior Presentation Program is a time honored tradition which serves as the finale to the six years of the young women's charitable endeavors and the mother-daughter relationship fostered through National Charity League.
