Drees Custom Homes Expects $35 Million In Sales In 2015 From Homes Built In Prosper ISD

Drees Custom Homes announced today it expects $35 million in sales over the next year from homes built in Prosper ISD.  The builder is kicking off a Tour of Homes to highlight choices in four Prosper area communities.  The unique event, called “Your Passport to Prosper,” showcases five new model homes located in the Prosper communities of Windsong Ranch, Light Farms, Whitley Place and Willow Ridge from September 6-21.

“The growth in Prosper is phenomenal and the demand for new homes is high with all of the relocation going on,” said David Harbin, Texas Region President, Drees Custom Homes.  “We are committed to the Prosper area with almost 25 percent of our DFW home sales planned to come from these four communities in Prosper ISD. That means our customers have a lot of choices in selecting a new home in this area.”

The town of Prosper has 351 new home starts so far this year and is on track to set another record in 2014.  City officials are expecting at least 34 percent growth by 2016, most of it positioned around the Tollway/380 interchange.

The Drees’ “Oakley II” model at Windsong Ranch features a dramatic foyer opening to a light-filled family room, kitchen and breakfast room.  The decorating presents an eclectic blend of formal cottage and French elegance, accented with a color palette of turquoise, sage green and French gray.  Each room you enter is even grander than the next, including the owner’s suite and spa bath, offering the epitome of relaxation. Drees offers a variety of homes at Windsong from the $410s to $570s+.

At Light Farms, you’ll find the “Bracken III” that begins with a unique rotunda-style foyer.  The open, spacious arrangement of the main living areas makes this home ideal for entertaining or relaxing with family. Distinctive architectural detailing such as high ceilings, crown molding and arched entryways are found throughout this spectacular home decorated to evoke a European cottage feel with hues of oatmeal and French gray.  Pricing at Light Farms range from the $370s to $500s+.

Whitley Place features two model homes, both luxuriously appointed throughout and offering the latest design features. The “Antonio” in the Knolls at Whitley Place greets you with a charming front courtyard, while the family room, kitchen, and cozy hearth room open to an expansive outdoor living area.  The interior reflects one of the trendiest styles in decorating, “farm-glam,” using a mix of transitional furniture and country inspired light fixtures, while incorporating vibrant shades of navy, gray, and white.

The second model at Whitley Place in the Estates section, the “Elmsdale,” really wows. The distinguished design of this home is unmistakably French, starting with the black and white checker tile in the foyer that sets the tone for the entire home.  One of the most innovative features of the Elmsdale is the ‘family ready room.’  This room takes the traditional laundry room to a new level with added space for crafting, planning, storing, and even washing the dog. This home is certainly not to be missed on your tour.  Homes in Whitley Place range from the mid $400s to the mid $700s.

The “Sacramento” at Willow Ridge mixes woods, patterns, and textures to create a wonderful ambiance of living in a country cottage.  The soothing oatmeal palette is accented with sage green, while the accessories, lighting fixtures and furniture warmly invite you to step into each space.  An immense amount of detail was put into the artfully painted walls throughout the home, giving the spaces flair and personality.  Pricing at Willow Ridge starts from the $430s.
